Kids Christmas Shoppe
Young shoppers will find treasures in the Kids Christmas Shoppe! Open from 3-6:15 p.m., the Shoppe gives children ages 4 to 12 the opportunity to learn the blessings of giving. A variety of gifts for family and friends will be available for purchase within the secure environment of Town Hall. Shoppers will be assisted by volunteers who have successfully completed background checks. Shopping shifts will run through 6:15 p.m.
To sign up your child for a shopping shift, please visit the registration table near Town Hall during the festival. Registration will be open from 2:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. The Kids Christmas Shoppe will be open from 3 p.m. tp 6:30 p.m.
The Kids Christmas Shoppe operates on a cash-only basis and is not equipped to accept credit or debit cards. Gifts range in price from $1 to $10.
Proceeds from the Kids Christmas Shoppe benefit the Recreational Scholarship Fund, which assists Prosper residents in attending camps and classes when they are financially unable to do so.

Visit Event Headquarters to Pick Up a Child ID Bracelet
Safety for the children attending our event is a top priority! For those that wish to participate, Child ID bracelets will be available at the Event Headquarters booth on the festival grounds. Child ID bracelets are free and available to parent and guardians to write their name and contact information. Sometimes age prevents children from sharing this critical information about their families and the bracelets can help to reunite families.
Interactive Activities and Hands-on Community Fun
Things will be sweet in Prosper Pantry’s Cookie Decorating exhibit! Kids pull up a chair and use their creativity in decorating a delicious homemade cookie to eat! Look for the red awning!
A Joyful Mess Art Studio’s exhibit will let kids explore their creative side! Come put your artistic talents to work and create a special snowman to take home.
Take part in the community fun to build a HUGE Christmas Tree from LEGO™ bricks! Hosted by Bricks 4 Kidz.
New this year! The Rhythm-Instrument Circle, hosted by the Dallas Gourd Patch, Texas Society, will engage kids of all ages! Come get your rhythm on with gourd and finger instruments, bells, shakers, drumsticks, and clappers to play.
Community Tree Lighting at 7 p.m. Brings the Community Together
At 7 p.m., children will be called to gather at the Community Tree for the traditional countdown and lighting! This is a hallmark of the Prosper Christmas Festival you won’t want to miss! Led by Mayor Davis Bristol, anticipation rises within the group as voices in unison signal the tree to come to light! Fireworks above lend a delightful finish to the annual event.
